Head of Avionics & Airframe Systems and Airworthiness Technical Library

About the role

The Head of Avionics‑Airframe Systems and Airworthiness‑Technical Library Cell will lead the delivery and performance of avionics, airframe and airworthiness technical library activities for Airbus Flight‑Hour Services contracts. Reporting to Airline Engineering management, the role ensures operational reliability of the fleet in line with EASA, NAA and Airbus standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Avionics, Airframe Systems and Airworthiness‑Technical Library Cell for Airbus FTM, FHS‑TSP and FHS‑C contracts.
• Ensure on‑time, on‑cost, on‑quality delivery of engineering deliverables across multiple customer sites.
• Manage a team of 15+ engineers, including staffing, performance management and skill development.
• Coordinate integrated work‑share frameworks with FTM‑CT, Toulouse‑based Airline Engineering and on‑site customer teams.
• Control supplier deliverables and integrate them into internal engineering workflows.
• Implement standardized processes, methods and tools in collaboration with the CAM Plateau.
• Represent Airline Engineering to customers and support sales campaigns for FHS‑TSP/FTM and FHS‑C.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large engineering teams in aerospace or aviation.
• Strong knowledge of airworthiness regulations (EASA, NAA) and Airbus technical standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑site projects and supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and internal coordination.
