Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping

About the role

The Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping supports daily hotel operations by ensuring rooms and public areas are clean, well‑stocked, and ready for guests. You will interact with guests of all levels, address their requests promptly, and help maintain high standards of service and safety throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and complete assigned tasks.
• Understand guest levels (VIPs) and room categories.
• Clean and maintain designated areas according to standards.
• Replenish guest supplies and respond quickly to guest requests.
• Report any damage or malfunction in rooms or public areas to the supervisor.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper condition.
• Prepare section room reports and daily productivity reports.
• Report lost‑and‑found items immediately to the housekeeping office.
• Handle guest complaints tactfully and report incidents promptly.
• Record room status accurately for the allocated section.
• Perform valet services when required, such as linen delivery and laundry processing.
• Follow fire, life‑safety, and emergency procedures.
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings assigned by management.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
• Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or equivalent education.
• Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management or Housekeeping (preferred).
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude.
