Guest Service Associate / Cafe Team Member (Captain)

About the role

MIYO Dessert Bar is a fast‑growing, freestyle dessert concept in Mumbai. We are looking for an energetic Guest Service Associate who will act as a Captain on the floor, creating a welcoming atmosphere while supporting daily café operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and suggest menu options.
• Prepare and serve dessert bowls promptly, maintaining high presentation standards.
• Handle billing, payments, and POS transactions responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food‑handling standards at all times.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and restock supplies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and address customer concerns politely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
