GK & Current Affairs Faculty (CLAT)

About the role

Law Prep Tutorial is looking for a passionate General Knowledge (GK) and Current Affairs faculty member to guide CLAT aspirants. The role involves delivering engaging lectures, preparing study material, and mentoring students to excel in the GK & Current Affairs sections of law entrance exams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom lectures on GK & Current Affairs for CLAT and other law entrance examinations.
• Prepare study materials, class notes, question banks, and assignments.
• Conduct quizzes, tests, and doubt‑solving sessions, and track student performance.
• Analyse current affairs developments and integrate relevant topics into teaching.
• Develop monthly revision material for current affairs.
• Participate in mock test analysis and student mentorship programmes.
• Collaborate with the academic team to improve course content and teaching methods.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate from a National Law University (NLU) preferred.
• Strong command of current affairs, static GK, legal current affairs, national & international events, government policies, and contemporary issues.
• Prior teaching, mentoring, or content development experience for CLAT, AILET, SLAT, or similar competitive exams is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and engage students effectively.

• Up‑to‑date knowledge of national and international current affairs.
• Proficiency in content creation and academic writing.
• Comfortable with both offline and online teaching environments.
