Geospatial Analyst

About the role

As a Geospatial Analyst at AiDASH, you will create high‑quality annotated datasets from satellite, LiDAR, aerial and ground‑based imagery to feed AI/ML pipelines that protect critical grid infrastructure. The position requires strong attention to detail, comfort with large‑scale visual and geospatial data, and fluency with modern AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and label diverse imagery (satellite, LiDAR, aerial, drone, panoramic photos and videos) to identify vegetation, assets, terrain and infrastructure components.
• Prepare, extract and organize spatial and non‑spatial data according to AI model and client delivery requirements.
• Review annotated data for quality issues, patterns and trends using annotation platforms and in‑house tools.
• Leverage generative AI assistants to accelerate annotation, auto‑generate documentation and draft reports.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to define annotation guidelines, refine labeling schemas and ensure datasets meet training standards.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in imagery annotation, image analysis, remote sensing or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with annotation and labeling platforms; familiarity with GIS software is a plus.
• Demonstrated use of generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to improve productivity.
• Working knowledge of Python or scripting for data processing; experience with geospatial libraries is a bonus.
• Experience with satellite imagery, aerial photography, LiDAR point clouds or video annotation for AI/ML pipelines.
