GDB/ZE-Cloud Data Engineer (Azure/Databricks)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to enhance and maintain the Enterprise Data Lake built on Azure. You will work closely with product owners and architects to translate data requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, extend and optimise the data product layer of the Enterprise Data Lake with high code standards, tests and documentation.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to understand requirements and design suitable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot data and software issues, optimise pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Work with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse, staying current with new features and recommending implementations.
• Automate workflows using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines and related tooling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer on Azure platforms.
• Experience in Agile environments with a DevOps mindset.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
