Fullstack Engineer – Returnship Program

About the role

Fractal is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join its ReBoot returnship program. You will work on end‑to‑end Data‑to‑Decision systems for Fortune‑500 clients, collaborating with Scrum Masters, Cloud, AI/ML and UI/UX engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain both backend (Python/Django or Flask) and frontend (React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS) components.
• Integrate algorithmic outputs from data‑science teams via REST APIs.
• Partner with business and product owners to create dynamic infographics and intuitive user controls.
• Participate in UAT, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve integration issues.
• Document processes, APIs and application architecture.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of experience building enterprise web applications.
• Career gap of at least 1 year and no more than 4 years.
• Eligibility for the ReBoot program (returning to the workforce after a hiatus).

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS, HTML5, CSS.
• Python (3.4+), Django (2.1+) or Flask.
• Familiarity with Java.
• RDBMS (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• REST API design and consumption.
• Cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Test‑driven development using Jest, PyTest or Nose.
• Performance optimization and multithreading concepts.
