Full Stack Javascript Developer

About the role

Amex GBT is looking for a Full Stack Javascript Developer to join its Bangalore team. You will work on modern web applications that power travel experiences, collaborating with senior engineers and analysts in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop UI components using React JS and write clean, maintainable JavaScript/Java code.
• Build reusable front‑end libraries and translate UI/UX designs into functional code.
• Integrate with REST APIs, fetch and display data, and parse JSON/XML payloads.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS).
• Participate in sprint planning, technical grooming, and delivery estimation.
• Work onsite in Bangalore at least three days per week.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with JavaScript, React JS and Node JS.
• Expert‑level proficiency in React JS, Node JS and advanced programming concepts.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON and XML data handling.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and the ELK stack.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Basic knowledge of prompt engineering and AI code‑assist tools.
• Experience working with AWS services and OpenShift platforms.
