FTC Operator – Production & Quality Control

About the role

The FTC Operator is responsible for executing production tasks while ensuring product quality and safety according to detailed work instructions. Reporting to shift supervisors and the Head of Production, the role supports the manufacturing line by managing tools, inspecting components, and following contingency plans.

Key responsibilities

• Control process parameters and product quality as defined in work instructions.
• Load and unload tools, perform in‑process inspections, and conduct final visual and dimensional checks.
• Execute fettling and post‑moulding processes, and manage packing operations.
• Maintain documentation on the shop floor, identify non‑conforming parts, and prevent their production.
• Apply controls from FMEA, control plans, work instructions and SOPs.
• Adhere to delivery schedules, housekeeping standards, and safety device usage.
