Front-End (HTML/CSS) Developer

About the role

Fairfest Media, a leading organiser of trade shows and B2B events in India, is seeking a Front-End Developer who lives and breathes HTML and CSS. The role focuses on turning high‑fidelity designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive web interfaces while ensuring a smooth user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Convert Figma or Sketch designs into clean, semantic HTML/CSS.
• Build responsive layouts that work across devices and breakpoints.
• Implement light animations using CSS transitions or animation libraries such as GSAP.
• Collaborate closely with designers to maintain visual consistency.
• Integrate front‑end code with simple back‑end APIs when required.
• Optimise pages for performance, loading speed and accessibility.
• Maintain UI component standards and style guides.

Required profile

• Strong command of HTML5 and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, Transitions).
• Ability to translate designs with extreme accuracy.
• Experience creating responsive and adaptive layouts.
• Excellent eye for detail, typography, spacing and visual consistency.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
