Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients at our busy salon in New Alipore, Kolkata. The role involves managing client flow, handling communications, and supporting the daily operations of stylists and therapists.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients and manage the reception desk.
• Handle phone calls, WhatsApp enquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate with stylists and therapists to ensure services start on time.
• Maintain appointment calendars and avoid booking conflicts.
• Process billing, cash handling, and perform basic data entry.
• Maintain client records and assist with day‑to‑day salon operations.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
• Confident, presentable, and comfortable interacting with clients.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to handle a busy reception desk and coordinate with multiple team members.
• Freshers are welcome; prior salon or hospitality experience is a plus.
