Freight Forwarder – Operations (Export & Domestic)

About the role

The Freight Forwarder (Operations) will manage end‑to‑end freight forwarding for export and domestic shipments in the Greater Delhi Area. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures goods move cost‑effectively, on schedule, and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Book cargo space and coordinate with carriers for export and domestic shipments.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including export paperwork and customs forms.
• Monitor freight status, resolve operational issues, and provide timely updates to customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimise routes and meet compliance requirements.
• Maintain high service standards and support service recovery when needed.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight operations, preferably in the Delhi market.
• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, business or a related field (advantageous).
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities, able to work accurately under time‑sensitive conditions.

Required skills

• Freight forwarding and cargo movement management.
• Export documentation, customs regulations and compliance.
• Carrier coordination, route planning and transit time management.
• Use of basic computer applications and logistics/transport management systems.
