Bus Driver – Tehkhand Depot (Greater Delhi)

About the role

The Bus Driver will operate company buses on designated routes to and from the Tehkhand depot in the Greater Delhi area. The role requires strict adherence to traffic rules, company policies, and a focus on passenger safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the bus safely, following assigned schedules and routes.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and monitor fuel levels.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure safe boarding and de‑boarding of passengers and provide courteous assistance.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and coordinate with supervisors.
• Comply with all safety, security, and regulatory procedures.

Required profile

• Valid and current heavy‑vehicle driving licence.
• 2–3 years of experience driving buses or other heavy vehicles, preferably in urban or depot‑based operations.
• Good knowledge of road routes in the Greater Delhi area.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Physical fitness to handle long driving hours and routine vehicle checks.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and logs in English or Hindi.
• Completion of formal driver‑training programmes and willingness to attend refresher training.
• Strong customer‑service orientation when interacting with passengers and site personnel.
