Fraud Analyst – Merchant Acquiring Risk

About the role

The Fraud Analyst will focus on merchant acquiring risk, ensuring that transactions processed through merchant terminals and payment gateways are legitimate and compliant. You will work closely with internal teams and external merchants to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review transactions processed on merchant terminals and payment gateways.
• Verify documents received from merchants and ensure their authenticity.
• Monitor merchant behavior to identify potential fraud attempts.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the unit.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to gather data required for investigations.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports related to fraud detection and risk analysis.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in merchant acquiring risk.
• Ability to verify merchant documentation and assess merchant behavior.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
