Senior Accountant – Real Estate & Construction

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant with solid experience in the real‑estate and construction sector. The role involves overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring tax compliance, handling statutory matters and supporting RERA reporting for our development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting operations, including month‑end and year‑end close.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash‑flow statements and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors for statutory, internal and tax audits.
• Handle GST compliance, return filing, ITC verification, assessments, notices and related litigation.
• Ensure timely TDS deduction, filing of returns and reconciliation.
• Prepare and review income‑tax computations, respond to notices and manage litigation.
• Oversee RERA reporting, filing quarterly and annual certifications and ensure project‑wise compliance.
• Support audit coordination and maintain documentation for statutory requirements.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in real‑estate or construction.
• Qualified B.Com / M.Com or CA Inter.
• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and RERA regulations.
• Proven ability to manage financial finalisation and statutory compliance.
