About the role
As a Forklift Sales Engineer you will act as a technical consultant for industrial clients, turning floor‑plan analyses and load requirements into tailored equipment solutions. The position blends engineering insight with commercial acumen to drive sales of battery‑operated, diesel and reach trucks.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed site surveys to assess floor conditions, racking heights and aisle widths and recommend the optimal forklift model.
- Identify and penetrate new industrial accounts across Pune and Sangli, expanding the company’s market presence.
- Lead consultative presentations and product demonstrations that highlight ROI, maintenance cycles and energy efficiency.
- Maintain long‑term technical support and relationships with key stakeholders in manufacturing, 3PL and retail sectors.
- Prepare technical bid documents, manage the sales pipeline in CRM and negotiate high‑value contracts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience selling capital equipment, material‑handling or construction machinery.
- Proven B2B industrial sales track record with strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and a solution‑oriented mindset.
