Foreign Trade Professional – Immediate Joiner (Bangalore/Chennai)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Foreign Trade Professional to lead our international trade operations in India. The role involves shaping trade strategy, ensuring compliance, and managing end‑to‑end logistics for both imports and exports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s foreign trade strategy in line with legal and policy requirements.
• Manage international logistics, including transportation, customs clearance and distribution.
• Oversee preparation of all import/export documentation such as invoices, bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Build and maintain relationships with international customers, suppliers and partners.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and risks in foreign markets.
• Lead a team of trade professionals, providing guidance, training and performance management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth flow of goods and information across the supply chain.
• Monitor trade data and trends to drive cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with export controls, sanctions and anti‑corruption regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7‑8 years of proven experience in foreign trade management.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures and export controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage international logistics operations.
• Leadership and team‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using trade management software.
