Food Preparation & Service Team Member

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Food and Staff team member to join our vegetarian restaurant and party hall in Mumbai. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on preparing, cooking and presenting pure vegetarian dishes while delivering courteous service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation and cooking of vegetarian menu items.
• Ensure proper presentation and plating of dishes.
• Serve guests in the dining area and support food service operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining spaces, adhering to safety standards.
• Coordinate with colleagues to respond to guest requests and set up events in the party hall.
• Support event management, including setup and cleanup.
• Attend work reliably, including flexible hours, weekends and evenings.

Required profile

• Strong skills in vegetarian food preparation and cooking.
• Interest or experience in food & beverage or hospitality.
• Effective communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Prior experience in restaurants, catering or similar settings is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform active tasks.
• Basic education with knowledge of local languages and English preferred.
