Food & Beverage Steward

About the role

The Food & Beverage Steward supports daily operations in the dining areas of Orchha Palace and Resorts. Working on‑site full‑time, you will help create a clean, welcoming environment for guests throughout the hotel and resort.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down service stations, including tables, buffet lines, glassware, silverware and linens.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all food‑and‑beverage areas.
• Assist service staff during meal periods by replenishing food and beverage items.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper placement of dishes.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures in line with company policies and local regulations.
• Support training activities related to safety, sanitation and service standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on courtesy and guest satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork with kitchen, service staff and management.
• Basic knowledge of food‑and‑beverage service standards and equipment handling.
• Experience in buffet setup, table clearing and maintaining hygiene in service areas.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices; food‑handling certification is a plus.
