Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will lead daily operations at Roastery Coffee House’s Bengaluru café, ensuring a welcoming guest experience and consistent, high‑quality food and beverage service. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to management and plays a key role in maintaining service standards and driving sales.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, guaranteeing consistent service standards and premium food‑and‑beverage presentation.
• Coordinate staff schedules, assign duties, and provide guidance on service procedures and product knowledge.
• Monitor inventory levels, support ordering, and manage stock rotation.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food‑service regulations.
• Handle customer feedback, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a positive guest experience.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to uphold quality and efficiency.
• Support promotional activities and collaborate with management to improve processes and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory skills with experience coordinating teams and overseeing performance.
• Solid knowledge of service standards, food‑service operations, and hygiene practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Capability to manage busy periods, prioritize tasks, and resolve operational challenges calmly.
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or food‑and‑beverage supervisory role preferred.
• Flexible availability for weekends and holidays, and ability to stand for extended periods.
• A diploma or degree in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field is an advantage.
