Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to join our finance team in Kozhikode. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes while partnering with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Develop financial models and dashboards to support strategic decisions and performance tracking.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability and key business metrics to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads on budgeting, resource allocation and planning initiatives.
• Perform profitability and cost analysis, delivering actionable insights to management.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls and coordinate with auditors, banks and tax consultants.
• Manage GST, TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or related functions (IT industry preferred).
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification (CA Inter / CMA Inter acceptable).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and Indian statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Experience using Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting systems.
• Financial modelling and dashboard creation.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
