Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst – Controlling Practice & Operations

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will provide specialist controlling and planning expertise to the Center of Excellence (COE) and its internal customers. You will be responsible for delivering analytical services, designing automated reporting tools, and supporting functional finance processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end analytical services, including automated, semi‑automated, manual and ad‑hoc reports.
• Design, implement and maintain automated reporting tools and dashboards.
• Support functional controlling activities such as budgeting, cost control, charging mechanisms, tax compliance and business partnering.
• Drive continuous process improvements, standardisation and innovation across finance processes.
• Validate process performance, manage stakeholder interactions and address identified inefficiencies.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange and best‑practice sharing between COEs.
• Oversee master data governance, including charts of accounts and Business Warehouse tools.
• Monitor financial performance, define KPIs, ensure data accuracy and advise management on corrective actions.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives that align with strategic goals and global finance standards.

Required profile

• Experience in controlling, budgeting, cost management and finance business partnering.
• Proven ability to manage process improvement projects and work with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Capability to coach and develop expertise within finance processes.
