Financial Model Auditor (Infrastructure & Energy)

About the role

Steer is seeking a Financial Model Auditor to join its model audit team supporting infrastructure and energy clients. You will review, validate and audit complex financial models to ensure they are accurate, robust and reliable for investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate financial models used in infrastructure and energy transactions.
• Audit model assumptions, calculations and outputs for accuracy and consistency.
• Provide assurance reports that give sponsors and lenders confidence in model integrity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address model issues and improve modelling standards.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Cost and Works Accountant (ICWA) qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial modelling or model audit.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and commercial awareness.
• Excellent attention to detail and written & verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
