Financial Controller – Strategic Management Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Financial Controller to lead our accounting function and turn financial data into strategic insight. Reporting to senior leadership, you will bridge compliance, performance analysis and growth planning for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Management Accounting – analyse variances, assess product profitability and monitor KPIs to influence business strategy.
• Data Presentation & Storytelling – create executive‑ready visual reports for the C‑suite, board and department heads.
• Financial Planning & Analysis – drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and scenario modelling.
• Financial Leadership & Controls – oversee month‑end and year‑end close, enforce internal controls and maintain ledger integrity.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration – partner with operations, sales and marketing to clarify financial impact and optimise budgets.
• Process Automation – enhance financial systems and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s or CPA/CMA/CIMA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive finance experience, including management accounting or controller responsibilities.
• Strong analytical power with expertise in financial modelling and data manipulation.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex numbers into clear, persuasive narratives.
• Strategic mindset with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
