Financial Analyst – Controllership and Tax

About the role

The Controllership Accounting and Statutory Reporting (CASR) team is looking for a senior Financial Analyst to lead tax compliance activities within its Tax Compliance Centre of Excellence. Based in Bangalore, you will work closely with tax, controllership and external consultants to ensure accurate and timely filing of corporate tax obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data and analysis for complex direct tax compliance requirements.
• Prepare detailed US GAAP tax provision calculations.
• Manage relationships between Tax, Controllership and external tax consultants.
• Supply information required for corporate income tax returns and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Lead review meetings with stakeholders, including auditors.
• Mentor junior team members and resolve conflicts.
• Drive optimisation and automation initiatives for tax processes.
• Identify efficiency opportunities and implement controls to ensure data accuracy.
• Deliver regular progress updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8‑10 years of experience in finance, accounting, internal audit or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax domains.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and influencing skills.
• Business acumen and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
