Finance Manager – FinOps Business Partnering

About the role

The Finance Manager – FinOps Business Partnering leads Order to Cash (O2C) initiatives, working closely with tax, accounting, legal and finance teams to ensure smooth new‑business and product launches. The role focuses on improving financial operations, compliance, and customer experience through automation and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support new business and product launches via Finance Operations systems, processes and policies.
• Partner with internal and external tax experts to assess regulatory changes, especially indirect taxation, and recommend system and policy adjustments.
• Drive digitisation and automation on the O2C cycle, translating benchmark findings and customer feedback into scalable technology solutions.
• Identify and implement simplification, standardisation and productivity improvements to enhance cash flow and KPI performance.
• Lead end‑to‑end O2C enhancements, addressing upstream inefficiencies and ensuring strong controllership and compliance.
• Build and maintain processes, procedures and policies with a focus on controllership, while fostering strong relationships with business and FinOps stakeholders.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• 4+ years applying financial KPIs to analysis and driving process improvements with automation.
• 4+ years participating in continuous‑improvement projects with measurable results.
• CA or MBA qualification.
• Preferred: 6+ years identifying data issues and implementing escalation plans; 8+ years delivering financial models and analysis that generate savings or operational improvements.
