Finance Executive – E‑Commerce Marketplace

About the role

The Marketplace Guru is seeking a Finance Executive to oversee financial operations for its e‑commerce marketplace agency. You will manage bookkeeping, fund flows, compliance, and taxation while supporting the company’s global growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain sales, purchases, expenses, and debit notes in Tally; perform cash book entries and reconcile vendor payments.
• Oversee multi‑currency fund inflows from Amazon via Pingpong accounts and transfer to ICICI Bank; manage bank loan interest and credit‑card auto‑payments.
• Prepare and reconcile GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, and GSTR‑2B across multiple states; handle GST disputes, TDS filings, advance tax deposits, and ROC/MSME returns.
• Process payroll, including ESIC, PF, advances, and upload salary sheets and tax certificates.
• Generate monthly financial reports, update MIS schedules, and conduct financial review meetings.
• Additional tasks: reconcile bills, prepare Form 16, manage annual bonuses, and review credit‑card statements.

Required profile

• Passion for e‑commerce and quick learning ability.
• Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration.
• Proficiency in G Suite/Google Sheets with fast typing speed.
• Basic accounting, bookkeeping, and math competence.
