Finance Controller – Mumbai (Goregaon)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance function for a reputable company in Mumbai (Goregaon). The role involves overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance, and shaping financial strategy to support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering collaboration.
• Stay current with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company law to maintain compliance.
• Prepare and file regulatory reports and documents as required by authorities.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on financial matters.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and other reports.
• Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for profitability and cost efficiency.
• Present financial insights to senior management, board members, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Master’s/CA a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of financial management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and company law.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong presentation abilities.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and proven leadership skills.
