Finance Controller – Intangibles, Opex & Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Controller to lead end‑to‑end financial analysis and reporting for intangibles, operating expenses, inventory and supply‑chain functions within Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. The role will provide critical insight to senior leadership and support strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic impairment assessments of intangible assets, including launched assets and goodwill.
• Validate financial aspects of in‑licensing and out‑licensing agreements, track milestones and ensure proper capitalization of new product launches.
• Review monthly Opex budget versus actuals, analyse variances and present clear explanations.
• Prepare and deliver inventory and cost of production (COPE) reports and senior‑leadership financial dashboards.
• Support budgeting, cost‑improvement tracking, P2P efficiency metrics and secretarial compliance activities.
• Provide ad‑hoc finance support to front‑office teams and maintain strong financial controls and operational visibility.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance or controlling with experience in intangibles, Opex and supply‑chain finance.
• Proven ability to perform impairment testing, financial validation of licensing deals and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate financial results to senior stakeholders.
