Field Sales Executive – IT Hardware Rental Solutions

About the role

The Field Sales Executive will work on‑site in South Dum‑Dum, promoting Devendra International’s IT hardware rental portfolio to businesses. You will identify prospects, understand their technology needs and close sales to meet assigned targets.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads for IT hardware rental services.
• Conduct face‑to‑face meetings with prospective clients across South Dum‑Dum and nearby areas.
• Analyse client requirements and prepare customised proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms, and close sales.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales performance in a CRM system.
• Provide market feedback on customer needs and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Proven field or B2B sales experience, preferably in IT hardware or related sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven with strong time‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently within South Dum‑Dum and surrounding regions.
• Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in rental services, IT services or hardware sales is advantageous.

Required skills

• Understanding of desktop, laptop, server and workstation specifications.
• Proficiency with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
