About the role

The Field Medical Services role is responsible for leading the on‑site medical centre at a thermal power plant, ensuring employee health and safety while supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the on‑site medical centre, ensuring it is equipped and staffed to handle emergencies and routine health issues effectively.
• Develop and implement health and wellness programs aimed at improving employee well‑being and reducing absenteeism.
• Conduct regular health check‑ups and maintain accurate medical records for all employees and contractors.
• Provide immediate medical care and first aid in case of workplace injuries or emergencies, complying with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the Site HR Head to design and execute health awareness campaigns focused on occupational health risks specific to thermal power plant operations.
• Ensure the medical centre complies with internal standards and aligns with Adani Power’s focus on operational excellence and sustainability.
• Train and guide first responders and safety teams on emergency medical procedures and protocols.
• Monitor and manage health‑related KPIs, such as incident response times and employee health indices.
• Liaise with external medical facilities and specialists to arrange advanced care when required.
• Stay updated on the latest medical practices and technologies relevant to industrial health services.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
• Additional certification in Occupational Health or Industrial Medicine is preferred.
