Field Medical Officer – Occupational Health

About the role

The Field Medical Officer will lead health‑care and wellness initiatives for employees across Adani Power’s manufacturing sites. The role combines occupational health management, emergency response, and operation of on‑site medical facilities to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement occupational health care plans tailored to employee needs.
• Conduct continuous medical surveillance to monitor health risks and occupational hazards.
• Manage and operate plant medical facilities, ensuring equipment and supplies are maintained.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, provide first‑aid treatment, and coordinate with external medical services when required.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on medical activities, health statistics, and compliance status.
• Coordinate referrals and advanced care with external healthcare providers and specialists.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records for all employees.
• Create and execute wellness awareness programs for employees, contract workers, and their families.
• Deliver primary medical care, health assessments, and chronic condition management.
• Support government‑related medical initiatives, health camps, and blood donation drives.
