Field Executive Trainee – Mechanical

About the role

The Field Executive Trainee – Mechanical position offers a hands‑on learning environment within a plant setting. You will gain practical experience in safe operation of equipment, hazard identification and adherence to plant safety procedures while supporting day‑to‑day field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control field equipment using SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklists and on‑demand reading instruments.
• Perform condition monitoring with portable instruments, conduct minor troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Collect field samples for laboratory testing and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Identify safety improvements, handle hazardous materials, support contract workers and act as a first responder in emergencies.
• Collaborate with shift superintendents, field executives, contractors and safety engineers to ensure smooth operations.
• Sign off on permits after verifying hazard‑free conditions and coordinate permit processes with safety in‑charge.
• Continuously suggest operational and safety enhancements and stay updated on TQM, EFQM, QCC and 5S methodologies.

Required profile

• Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or BSc/MSc in Chemistry.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduate.
• Strong awareness of plant safety procedures and permit systems.
