Factory Lead

About the role

The Factory Lead is responsible for overseeing production and maintenance activities within a Nutreco plant, ensuring efficient execution, safety, and continuous improvement across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production operations, manage schedules, and ensure delivery of results within budget.
• Oversee mid‑ and long‑term maintenance planning, prioritize repairs, and minimize downtime.
• Lead and coach supervisors and staff, set objectives, review performance, and provide ongoing feedback.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, variance, production, quality, and injury reports to drive performance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality regulations, addressing anomalies promptly.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to optimise processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong ability to set goals, evaluate performance, and motivate teams.
• Experience managing maintenance planning and production scheduling.
• Solid understanding of HSE and quality standards in an industrial setting.
• Analytical mindset for KPI monitoring and process optimisation.
