Facility Manager – Optimize Site Operations

About the role

The Facility Manager ensures smooth, cost‑efficient operation of a portfolio of sites by delivering high‑quality facility services that meet business needs. You will act as the FM Category Manager, overseeing maintenance, supplier relationships, energy efficiency and lifecycle planning to guarantee safe, compliant, and reliable facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full FM scope, including Energy & Utilities, Cleaning, Waste & Pest Management, Technical installations, General Building Maintenance, and Shopfitting.
• Define FM strategy, set standards, steer suppliers, manage performance and drive cost‑quality optimisation in line with global FM vision.
• Lead sourcing, procurement and contract delivery for facility service providers, ensuring contractual compliance and high‑quality service.
• Monitor portfolio condition, identify investment needs and plan actions to optimise asset lifecycle and performance.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PPM) for MEP and C&I systems, balancing scheduled and reactive work.
• Maintain accurate asset, reactive work and PPM data in the global FM system (Planon), including Capex/Opex planning.
• Track site energy consumption, drive efficiency initiatives and report against global energy targets.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align facility activities with evolving business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant Facility Management or Project Management certifications are a plus.
• Mechanical or technical engineering education preferred for hard FM category management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Planon FM system.
