Façade / BIM Designer

About the role

Egis is looking for a Façade / BIM Designer to develop, manage and coordinate Building Information Models (BIM) and façade design documentation for building envelope projects. The role blends façade design expertise with advanced BIM modelling to deliver accurate, coordinated and high‑quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed 3D BIM models for façade and building envelope projects using Revit.
• Create façade assemblies, parametric families, schedules and project‑specific BIM content.
• Prepare and maintain Levels of Information (LOI) and data‑rich BIM models.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, MEP and specialist disciplines, identifying and resolving design clashes.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project BIM Execution Plans, standards and client requirements.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, workshops and model reviews.
• Support continuous improvement of BIM processes, standards and workflows.
• Maintain and enhance Revit family libraries, templates and BIM standards.
• Produce detailed façade system designs, tender documentation and shop drawings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in façade design combined with advanced BIM modelling capabilities.
• Strong understanding of building envelope projects and coordination across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to work with project standards, BIM Execution Plans and quality requirements.
