Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the production and execution of interior projects for our corporate interior design and turnkey solutions business. The role involves planning, coordinating manpower, managing materials, ensuring quality, and delivering projects on schedule according to approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor production activities in line with project requirements and timelines.
• Review drawings, BOQs, material specifications and production requirements before work commences.
• Coordinate with Design, Project, Procurement and Site Execution teams for smooth execution.
• Allocate manpower and resources effectively to achieve production targets.
• Manage in‑house carpenters, fabricators, contractors, vendors and production staff.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and liaise with Procurement for timely supply.
• Conduct regular quality checks and address production‑related issues promptly.
• Monitor material usage, wastage and production costs.
• Maintain production schedules, records, material requirements and progress reports.
• Ensure housekeeping, safety and discipline within the workshop/production area.

Required profile

• 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in interior design or fit‑out companies.
• Experience with corporate/commercial interior projects is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read interior drawings, layouts and production drawings.
• Strong production planning, manpower management and quality control skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
