Experienced Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Para-Professional

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Para-Professional to manage material flow, optimise rack layouts and support production logistics. The role combines manual handling with operation of low-complexity equipment such as forklifts and conveyors, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise rack layout and material flow for maximum efficiency.
• Modify warehouse layout for kitting and sequencing to minimise movement.
• Perform kitting according to production orders and pick lists.
• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in SAP and handle all incoming material documentation.
• Load and unload raw and finished goods, create subcontracting challans for vendor re-work.
• Feed material to production lines on schedule while maintaining low work-in-process inventory.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and provide cross-functional logistic support.
• Design finished-goods delivery packages to improve picking, packing and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, lean activities (5S, visual management, value-stream mapping) and compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate industrial equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, A3, PDCA).
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
