Logistics Executive – Madurai

About the role

The Logistics Executive will coordinate logistics, production planning, warehousing and dispatch operations for the Madurai Unit‑1 (New Mill). The role ensures safe, compliant and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods while supporting accurate production planning and timely customer deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare machine‑wise spinning and twisting plans based on demand and raw material availability.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, QAD, Procurement and Planning teams to ensure plan adherence and material readiness.
• Manage receipts of raw material, IUT, sourced yarn and finished goods in SAP, ensuring accurate documentation and reconciliation.
• Maintain FIFO, proper identification and systematic storage of materials in the warehouse.
• Support GRS documentation, including recycled RM receipts, BLs, shipping bills and Intertek portal uploads.
• Monitor daily production plan versus actual, finalize daily dispatch plans and coordinate truck requirements.
• Conduct safety briefings, report hazards/near‑misses and ensure safe loading/unloading and proper MHE usage.
• Prepare monthly reports (HSN reconciliation, warehouse statements, SLOB, MB52 vs HU, EcoVerde) and upload quarterly physical inventory into SAP.
• Support ISO/GRS audit requirements and coordinate export planning with export planners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Logistics or Supply Chain (preferred).
• 4–7 years of experience in supply chain roles, including production planning, warehousing and logistics operations.
• Knowledge of SAP PP/MM/SD modules.
• Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem‑solving capability.
• Familiarity with ISO, 5S, GOTS and GRS systems is advantageous.
