Experienced Accountant – Manufacturing (Tally ERP)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Accountant to independently manage end‑to‑end accounting operations for our manufacturing business. This is a compliance‑driven position that goes beyond routine bookkeeping, requiring ownership of statutory filings, financial statements, and audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑9) and TDS returns (Form 26Q) on a monthly and annual basis.
• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, covering sales, purchases, journals, and expenses.
• Finalize balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow statements for statutory audits.
• Handle inventory accounting for raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and CA firms.
• Support income‑tax computation and prepare MIS reports for management.
• Process payroll, ensuring PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on daily use of Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
• Direct experience filing GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑9 and TDS returns (Form 26Q) independently.
• B.Com or equivalent; CA Inter or M.Com is a plus.
