Executive – Sales Commercial (Warehouse & Customer Service)

About the role

The Executive – Sales Commercial will provide backend support to the sales function, ensuring timely delivery of materials to customers, efficient warehouse operations, and adherence to established systems and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor order cycle time and coordinate with customers and sales teams to resolve material service issues.
• Support material storage and delivery for related businesses such as Home Improvement.
• Manage warehouse productivity, conduct regular stock verification, and control variances.
• Implement and use the Transport Management System to optimise route plans and improve customer service.
• Assess and propose infrastructure capex projects for warehouses and sales offices, and oversee their execution.
• Assist regional commercial teams with overhead budgeting and monitor freight cost per ton.
• Process vendor payments, ensure timely closures, and maintain open goods receipts and advances.
• Track statutory licences, update compliance portals, and support audits (ISO, 5S, internal).
• Conduct safety audits and ensure a safe working environment.
• Prepare and circulate monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in any stream (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BMS) with at least 50% marks and no backlogs.
• Full‑time graduation.
