Executive – Quality Control

About the role

The Executive – Quality Control will implement and maintain food safety management systems and ISO standards across Bunge’s plant in Kandla. The role ensures compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP and related regulations, while driving continuous improvement in product safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain manuals, procedures, checklists and records in line with FSSC 22000 requirements.
• Verify and validate critical control points (CCPs), operational prerequisite programs (OPRPs), and related food safety plans (VACCP, TACCP, PRPs).
• Conduct internal audits, customer audits (Halal, Kosher, RSPO) and vendor audits, and manage corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver food safety training, toolbox talks and standard operating procedures to plant personnel.
• Support the creation of formats for record‑keeping and ensure accurate documentation of audits and inspections.

Required profile

• B.Sc./M.Sc. or Diploma in Chemistry, Food Technology or related field.
• 4‑8 years of experience in food safety, quality control or related functions within an agribusiness or food processing environment.
• Certified internal auditor for FSSC 22000 and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and presentation skills with a customer‑oriented mindset.

Required skills
