Executive Indirect Taxes

About the role

The Executive Indirect Taxes role is responsible for managing all aspects of indirect tax compliance, advisory and restructuring. The position works closely with leadership and external stakeholders to ensure the company meets its tax obligations while optimizing tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle issues under indirect tax laws, tax restructuring and advisory.
• Draft submissions, appeals and represent the company in indirect tax litigation.
• Ensure closure of legacy tax cases to avoid financial loss.
• Manage departmental audits, enquiries and statutory audit liaison.
• Maintain external relations to present the company’s view on tax matters.
• Ensure GST and other indirect tax compliance, including filing periodic returns.
• Develop and monitor tax control systems and robust compliance processes.
• Perform tax due diligence for onshore and offshore projects.
• Customize SAP to meet taxation requirements and institutionalise MIS reporting.

• Well‑versed in indirect tax laws with practical experience.

• Ready to learn continuously and handle a challenging environment.
• Open to relocation.
