Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads the Housekeeping, Laundry and Flower Shop departments at Andaz Delhi, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and meet Hyatt brand standards. This senior position works closely with the Director of Rooms, Front Office, Engineering and other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces and VIP/long‑stay rooms.
• Manage inventory of guest supplies, cleaning materials, linen, flower arrangements and stationery; conduct regular stock takes.
• Coordinate with contracted pest‑control, uniform suppliers and other service vendors.
• Conduct frequent inspections with Front Office Manager and Laundry Manager to ensure compliance with departmental manuals.
• Implement Hyatt Touches, Rooms Top 20 standards and respond to Consumer Audit findings.
• Prepare and update departmental operations manuals, communication logs and briefing meetings.
• Approve purchase requests, invoices and ensure accurate reporting to corporate, regional and governmental bodies.
• Collaborate with Engineering to block rooms for maintenance and support cross‑departmental teamwork.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior housekeeping management within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards, inventory control and vendor management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate a large team.
• Ability to work closely with multiple hotel departments to achieve operational goals.
