Events Manager

About the role

The Events Manager will oversee the planning and execution of property events, ensuring a seamless experience from pre‑event sales through post‑event follow‑up. Working closely with sales, property departments and customers, the role focuses on delivering high‑quality service and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate event logistics and operations, following established procedures and collaborating with internal teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between sales representatives and customers throughout the event lifecycle.
• Manage group room blocks and meeting space allocations for average to large‑sized groups.
• Ensure billing accuracy, conduct bill reviews with clients, and process final invoices.
• Identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and integrate current event‑management trends.
• Conduct site inspections, assist the sales process, and gather customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, address guest issues, and follow up post‑event.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of event‑management experience, or a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related field with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work collaboratively.
