EUC/Desktop Support Engineer (L1) – Onsite – Kolkata

About the role

We are looking for an End‑User Computing (EUC) / Desktop Support Engineer (Level 1) to join our onsite enterprise support team in Kolkata. You will provide hands‑on deskside assistance, manage device lifecycles, and ensure smooth operation of Windows and basic macOS environments for corporate users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite desktop and deskside support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) and break/fix activities.
• Manage device imaging, deployment, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Support Windows 10/11, basic macOS, Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, VPN, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Utilise SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and ServiceNow for device management and ticket handling.
• Administer Active Directory user accounts and password resets.
• Provide VIP support, maintain endpoint security compliance, and follow ITIL processes for incidents, service requests, and problems.
• Participate in 24/7 standby rotation and offer remote/on‑call assistance when critical issues arise outside business hours.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in desktop, EUC, or IT support roles within an enterprise environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills with the ability to work independently onsite.
• Willingness to join a 24/7 standby support rotation.
