Equipment Maintenance Engineer (Associate)

About the role

The Associate Equipment Maintenance Engineer ensures that pharmaceutical production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Initiate and manage work orders in the EAMS system, including scheduling and execution.
• Conduct equipment qualification tests, document results, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify safety improvements, issue LOTO permits, and follow EHS guidelines.
• Maintain spare parts inventory, perform stock counts, and coordinate reorder points.
• Assist in equipment improvement projects and support deviation investigations.
• Train operators on basic troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge applicable to equipment maintenance.
• Understanding of EHS requirements, regulatory standards, and quality control measures.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and forecasting methods.
• Ability to follow standard engineering practices under supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EAMS (Enterprise Asset Management System) for work order management.
• Use of multimeter and analyzer tools for electrical diagnostics.
• Experience with inventory management software.
• Capability to perform equipment qualification and documentation.
