Team Leader – Manufacturing

About the role

Pfizer is seeking a proactive Team Leader to drive manufacturing excellence. In this position you will guide teams, manage projects, and champion continuous improvement to ensure timely delivery of medicines to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects, set objectives, and allocate people, technology, and financial resources.
• Identify and develop innovative process or product improvements, taking calculated risks to achieve results.
• Solve complex problems by leveraging cross‑functional experience.
• Oversee performance of direct and indirect reports, providing input to senior management.
• Partner with leadership to meet objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance with SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Develop and lead a team of process technicians, optimize facilities and equipment, and implement Lean Tools.
• Support SMART objective development, share best practices, and manage training and performance of shift and contingent staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma with 8+ years experience, or associate’s degree with 6+ years, or BA/BS with 2+ years, or MBA/MS with relevant experience.
• Strong people‑management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Upstream/Downstream cGMP manufacturing operations.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced, goal‑driven setting.
• Strong decision‑making capability.
