Enterprise Security Architect

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Enterprise Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of SPAN’s enterprise security and compliance program. The role will shape security governance, technical architecture, and incident response for our fast‑growing Bangalore team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and map security policies and standards to ensure continuous audit readiness.
• Lead end‑to‑end audit cycles, including evidence collection, remediation and third‑party risk assessments.
• Architect and implement a Zero Trust/Least Privilege identity and access management framework.
• Design and own the enterprise network security architecture.
• Develop and maintain the IT security incident response plan and drive vulnerability scanning and remediation programs.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise security leadership and architectural roles.
• Deep knowledge of security and privacy frameworks such as SOC 2, CCPA and NIST CSF 2.0.
• Proven track record delivering complex security audits and managing compliance programs.

Required skills

• Expertise in modern authentication and authorization protocols (OIDC, SAML, OAuth 2.0).
• Strong background in network security architecture and Zero Trust design.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation.
• Hands‑on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with hardware‑backed, phishing‑resistant solutions like FIDO2.
