Engineer – Specials

About the role

We are looking for an Engineer – Specials to support our Specials Engineering team in Bengaluru. Under direct coaching, you will apply basic engineering principles to develop generic bills of material, modify designs, and assist in product and manufacturing engineering processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product information and create generic bill of material concepts.
• Modify existing designs while adhering to MillerKnoll design intent.
• Develop spreadsheets and data vocabularies for item masters, BOMs, and routings.
• Collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and configuration software teams.
• Follow standard engineering processes to ensure first‑time quality and support business objectives.
• Assist in feasibility studies, cost estimates, and engineering criteria development.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized processes and apply basic engineering concepts.
• Strong note‑taking and documentation skills, showing work and assumptions.
• Basic understanding of MillerKnoll Performance Systems (MKPS) and supply‑chain cost principles.
• Willingness to seek mentorship and work under direct supervision.
